So, not only are we going to bailout the auto industry with taxpayer money, the govt is going to make the taxpayers pay people to buy new cars to stimulate the automakers sales.

It's amazing to me that millions of people just dont get what the govt is doing.

So let me see if I understand this correctly... The government giving out tax credits for purchasing SUV's is GOOD but giving consumers a cash bonus for trading in their old crappy car for a new, economical car, is BAD?
