Job opening: full time designer needed
 
We are looking to hire a full time web designer to work remotely for our program. Excellent photoshop skills required; flash and video editing is a bonus.

You will be designing banners, galleries, site tour designs, free sites designs; possibly minor video editing if you have the skills.

No, I just prefer working with the person directly and feel better knowing that he gets 100% of what I pay for his work, not some 30% like many outsourcing companies do.

I'll still lay 2 to 1 odds that you get posts in this thread from outsourcing companies and probably a few emails as well.

They seem to have severe reading comprehension problems in the Philippines.

Its more a case of Not-Giving-A-Fuckism. If they don't listen to you the first time when you post the job ob, they're certainly not going to listen to you when you're telling them what you want your 400$/month employee to do.

Yes they always apply anyways with a line "in case you change your mind" or "in case you decide to consider outsourcing..."

It is very refreshing to see that the outsourcing companies can at least read and follow the simple request that we are looking for individuals and not a company.
