Aged Domain Names For Sale (Maybe)
I have some domain names that are just over 5 years old. All are .com and all are adult related. They are PR0 with little or no backlinks, however they are listed in google (i.e. not banned).
Can someone tell me how much these might be worth given that they are over 5 years old? Or is 5 years old even considered an "aged domain name" these days? |
obviously it depends on the domain itself, how long is a piece of string?

I get your point, my question was really about whether or not 5 year old domains are considered "aged" enough to be valuable in todays market.
The domain names are not so great I guess, I don't want to list them all but an example of one of the best I have available that is over 5 years old would be... blackcockswhiteslutss.com The rest are all similar enough in that the have some adult keywords mixed with an extra letter at the end or beginning like with the "s" in the above domain. |
5 years isn't really aged... it is an aged domain, but it's just not the same as getting a 10, 12 or 14+ year old domain. I think aged is going to be anything 1999 and below, for now at least, so starting at about 10 years.. In my opionion.
A 5 year old site might get a tiny bump because of age, but factors like steady sales, scripts, cost of design, size of the website, if the site has rights to content, how good the domain name is, does the keywords have natural searches, etc... those factors would increase the cost. Assuming they just sit, trickle of sales, $150-$350.. |

Thanks for your post. You answered exactly the question I was asking.
I was thinking 5 years old might deserve a "bump", not a tiny one though! :) Happy to hear $150 plus to be honest too. I would consider letting some of them go at that price. I'll hang on to the rest for another 5 years... Quote:
