a little help here!
guys, I have a few blogs Ilm using to promote some content, and yesterday two of them dropped from almost 2 hundred visits to a big 0, did anyone had this kind of issue with google analytics before?
the sites are up, I know they had been visited today and Their PR keeps the same as always... what would this be?? |
Have you checked your actual server stats and not analytics?
nope... how´s that?
Bump. Yeah I agree. Check on any downtime or server problems etc.
I have like 15 sites on the same server and onlythose two dropped to 0...
no mo help? :(
did you change themes?
check google analytics codes are they alright?
Most likely it's the Google Dance. Probably you'll get your position in SERPs and traffic back sometime soon.
It can be a virus (HTML changing virus from stolen FTP passwords). I had one fuck up my GA codes once, because it seemed to look for a JS tag and insert code there, rendering the GA JS code useless. Check the GA code of a normal site and compare with yours!
I think I solved it, I´ve been changing the themes, so apparentlyi forgot to put the analytics code in the new ones... I will tell that tomorrow! thanx for the help guys!! :thumbsup

I've seen google anylytics do this many times and then come back. I think it's part of their method of keeping people guessing. :upsidedow
