Interesting Morning
 

I'm out grabbing my morning espresso, waiting outside smoking a cigarette until it's ready. I hear a "Son, come over here" from over my shoulder. I turn to respond, and see that it's two HB cops.

I walk over to see what was up, and both officers wanted to shake my hand... I'm a bit bewildered at the moment, until they let on that they had both been spying my tshirt, and we're also NORML supporters. "Fight the good fight" is what they left me with as I went to grab my now prepared espresso...

Great start to my morning, and much better than most of my previous interactions with Johnny Law.

Don'tcha just love any conversation that starts with, "Son..."

Huntington Beach... These guys were special enforcement (round up parole jumpers and such)... they were in shape, but I wouldn't call em hard bodies...

I'd forgotten what NORML even stood for until I googled it.

God, why do some things take so long?

Bizarre to say the least... The good thing (or the thrill) about drugs when I was a teen was the chance of getting caught by the police.

Good story. Yes, the nation is learning that it is a war that cannot be won, and a law that causes more harm than the crime. Good to see that even cops realize this.

There are now lawyers, doctors, politicians, cops and more that are all ready for a change.

It's coming.

lol nice, I can think of worse ways to start out your day. not often you run into cops like that :)
