What blogging software to use?
 

I'm interested in starting a business blog for posting various stats and marketing tests, advertising specials, etc. Can anyone recommend a good (cheap or free) software for this?

TextPattern takes a little more work, but a much better system.

What makes TP better in a nutshell? Less PHP calls or something?

Less retarded DB schema, a bit less-shitty code. Otherwise, it's still just software. There are tons of plugins, but you're comparing Apples to PCs, really - it's not in that common of use due to the minor learning path for skinning, but the API for building things is trivial - there's even a plugin for it to wrap your code and create plugins for the system.

I just prefer it - less problems in many years, it's stable, and it does pretty much everything I want it to.
