I think that the challenge of running a work related twitter account is to give it character, and develop interest so that your followers don't view you as just spamming them with links.

If only it wasn't down so freakin' much.

Pick a niche. Provide quality links and watch the people follow up. It's really not that difficult.

I don't actively go out and follow to many people, my list just keeps growing daily.

If you think it goes down now, you should have seen it in action before they fixed the @ problem...
