Thoughts on my new video blog im working on
 

There comes a time in every webmasters life where they care about others opinion. Please offer yours about my adaption of a video blog im making. www.blackvideoz.com/vid is the url. Fixed width yes or no? Theme sucks i wasted my money? Fire away.

First thing I notice is the header which is really ugly and much larger than necessary.

The flash scroller is cool but the way the picture tiles is lame.

The meta box that overlays the thumbs is also no good. It should only appear on mouseover, or at least hide on mouseover so you could see the thumb.

All these things are easily fixed though, so I'd say you were on the right track.

That meta box will look really good shrunk down (20-30px), and displaying only the title, and post ratings showing stars for ratings. (Id use WP Ratings)

Im going to only include images that fit the flash scroller in the future. I liked the header it was the least of my problems i thought, now im self conscious and will fix it...
