Watching Scarface again!!!

Why does this movie never get old even line of dialogue by heart? I just wish cable played The Warriors as much as Scarface. That's another one of those movies full of senseless wholesome family violence!

By the way, if you've never read the novel of The Warriors, you should. It's one of those books that are completely different than the movie and makes more sense (not as much fun as the movie though, I admit though). Sort of like Less Than Zero if you ever compare that movie and film

great film, i can watch it anytime without being bored

I don't go out of my way to watch it...but if its on, I'll stop whatever I'm doing and watch the rest.

"this town is like a beeeg poossy....waiting to get fuhhked!!"

While it's an awesome movie I've never understood why people think Tony Montana was some kind of badass hero with all the posters and stuff when in fact he was nothing but the ultimate loser.

Well, the first one was an MTV Video Game before MTV and or Video games existed. But I'm sure you are correct. They tried that remake of Death Race 2000, called it something else and Rollerball and both sucked donkey dicks.

No one had bigger balls than Gus Van Sant though remaking Psycho. What the fuck was going through his head? :1orglaugh Oh yeah - cash!

i watched the scarface on cable a lot but got the DVD, the cable version edits too much.

+ after watching it many many times in entirety i now like to watch my favorite part of the film- from when frank lopez is introduced to when he is on his knees begging for his life.

You want me to believe Omar was a stoolie because Sosa said so? You bought that line?

Deesnuts 06-24-2009 10:38 AM

well, not really. stone based several of the scenes on real life events and there's a certain truth to the drug kingpin lifestyle portrayed in the film but there's no one in particular that the story is based on.

I was really just joking, but you're right there are actual events (like the chainsaw thing) that actually did happen. I love Stone and Depalma even more (Causilities of War - I don't care what anyone says :thumbsup).
