ONLINE Chat/Technical Service for your customers
 
Hi, I am wondering if any of you would be needing an online customer service rep.

I was thinking of providing such a service to sites that need extra assistance taking care of emails/cancellations and provide live chat support to their customers.

If this was available, would you use it? Questions?

I am refering to providing actual LIVE assistance to your customers. Say they dont remember their password, can't figure out how to cancel etc, or want more information before they signup - then they can click on an ONLINE chat support request ( or we can initiate the call) and we would assist them with that.

We would be an extra hand in helping keeping your customers happy, and thus less chargebacks, and can take a load of emails/support requests away from the webmasters so they take care of other things.

Basically, we would provide custom code for you to put on your pages, wherever you wish to our support link to be available ( login pages, cancel pages, email pages, etc), as well as we provide you with custom email address that you could provide on your site. When someone clicks on the link for live support, they would be connected with a live operator to assist them with whatever issue/question they have.

Of course to best assist your customers, we would need to have backend access to your processors/nats and/or login reports to provide as much information that the user would need. An agreement would be in place of course that are only using this access for this service, and would NEVER user it for any other reason.

I have a client that want a service like this but they dont need full time. They get about 5 - 10 support emails a day.

Glad to here that there is some need for this type of service. I would be focusing on those that do not need full time staff, but wish to provide the highest amount of customer service to their customers.

Their is a need, and if you can offer a service that can save a member from canceling or provide enough help that a member will join the site then you can charge a good rate....if not then you are competing with some one in India making 50 cents an hour.

Our focus would be to keep your customers happy and help them with whatever issues they are having with the site, even if that means helping them cancel. Having the best customer service at the end of a subscription can also lead to the customer returning in the future! Of course, we also want to elliminate the burden on webmasters of having to tend to cancel/support requests.

The other route is by using it as a sales technique at the same time. Have our chat links added to your tour to promote it. Of, if they cancel one site, we could also recommend another site in your program they might enjoy at the same time etc.

So, what would that be worth to you?

nobody needs that :D i mean help to cancel membership :D

Well, some people use multiple processors, and your customers don't always keep their subscription info. Wouldn't you rather provide them with a way that they can cancel, vs getting a chargeback?
