Need some CCBill 101 Please

Currently I am just using a couple of sponsors...but now I am looking to use a bunch. Can you guys bring me up to speed on what CCBill is?

I went to sign up at Tushy Cash and it is saying "For every site you want to promote you will need to signup for a seperate CCBill account. CCBill merges accounts so you will get one check or wire transfer." (sounds like a pain in the Tushy :))

Just sign-up for each as the sites you want to promote on http://www.tushycash.com/join.html

So basically, if you want to promote strapon lesbians, you signup here: http://www.tushycash.com/strjoin.html

If you want to promote tushylickers, you signup here
http://www.tushycash.com/tljoin.html

You can then merge all the accounts as you sign up (All CCBill sponsors, not just tushycash). So use the very first CCBill account you signed up with (Your master account) and put the details in the join form where it says:

"To load your current data, please enter your ID, username and password "

If you have never promoted a CCBill program, sign up with the 'create a new account' button..and then when you fill on the details for the SECOND site, use the method described above.

That way CCbill picks up the details from their database and you will get 1 combined check for all the ccbill sites you signed up for.

Hopefully that clarifies something :D

Okay so your saying I can just sign up for a ccbill account through tushy cash, I thought I would have had to go to ccbill.com and set up multiple accounts. Not hard then, thanks :thumbsup

it's very simple

but i am surprised that the TushyCash sites aren't grouped so that you only need one affiliate ID to promote all their sites

Yes, you can signup to CCbill via tushycash. Then as you signup for the first time, THAT account will be your master account..so from there onwards, use the details you set there for the following sites you start to promote.

So if you sign up to your first site and get an affiliate id 123456
Then you choose to set your username as 'testing' and password as 'platypus'

Then the next time you sign-up to promote any CCBill site, you just load your data using the form on the signup page with the three textfields

"Current ID" -> 123456
"Username" -> testing
"Password" -> platypus

Then you get an email from CCbill indicating you signed up to promote your second CCBill sponsor.. you get your new affiliate ID with that mail that is tied to the new site you promote. So it can be 123459 (not 123456 like your master account), so you have to use that with your second site. Hopefully not too confusing. I think CCBill atleast had plans to make it so you can use the master useraccount ID with all sites, but not sure if that has yet been implemented.

I'm sure CCBill rep (and/or tushycash) will be here shortly to give a better explanation than I can ;)

Okay I think I got it, in the future it would be ideal to have one ccbill account for all sponsors, and each sponsor could have a seperate set of numbers for each affiliate.

What is funny is computers were to make things easier, but lately it seems it is easier to call or get something done in person these days....to many passwords and instructions to read. This is a whole other topic, anyways thanks...and it is finally sunny here in NYC and I am going to play Handball now. :)

bump for ccbillers :D

The first CCBill account you sign up for can be your master account.

The other CCBill account numbers you get can be merged under your main account. Everything shows up under one login.

TushyCash is a great program to send traffic too.

BV 06-27-2009 09:52 PM

The reason tushy cash does that (account grouping disabled) i assume is so your stats for each of their sites are separate and are not all blended together.

So in essence each of their sites you have to sign up for and will have a different affiliate id for each one.

Where as if they had account grouping enabled you would just have to sign up once and could send traffic to any of their sites with the same affiliate id.

When you join up for each of their sites using the merge feature, this enables you to 1. have all monies earned for all sites, and 2. allows you to just have 1 login for your ccbill admin. When you log in to your master account all the sites that you merged under that account will show up. Whether its just the tushy cash sites or any other sponsors sites you merged under your main acct. (could be 100's of dif sponsors)

remember when you use the merge feature you do not use your master affiliate id for each site, it will be different. ( i see this mistake allot)

Jake, thanks for the great explanation of things. Handballjim, I'm Scott from TushyCash.com and can help you out personally if you or anyone else needs anything. (My ICQ is 147940406) I'm online every day so feel free to hit me up at any time or drop me an email [email protected].

Just to give a brief rundown of how the TushyCash sites are setup. We have global grouping off with our Tushy Sites. This means every website in the TushyCash program that you promote you need a separate CCBill Affiliate ID. We do realize this could be an inconvenience, but we are here to make it as easy as possible. CCBill does allow merging of Affiliate ID's into 1 account, which will allow for easy stat checking and tracking. After you signup for the 1st TushyCash site you want to promote, you can merge the remaining sites into your first account. (You will still have separate affiliate ID?s for each site, but this will allow you to only have to login to one CCBill account to view all of your stats for all of your CCBill sites you promote.)

The only inconvenience is that you must signup for each site you want to promote separately. But to save time for affiliates we have no problem doing this for you. All you would need to do would be to signup to 1 of the Tushy sites then email me ([email protected]) and I will personally signup/merge the rest of the tushy sites into your account for you, then email you back a list of all of your tracking codes with URL?s to use. I've done this for multiple affiliates and it's a great way to get signed up fast as we do realize that having to signup for each site separately can be a pain in the ass.

Now for the explanation of why we have grouping off. When we opened our first movie site BadTushy.com we never planned on the huge success that TushyCash would one day become. When we opened the second site TushyLickers.com, we wanted to keep memberships separate as we were shooting 100% exclusive content (and still do to this day) for the two sites. By the time DoctorTushy.com came around, we realized we made a mistake with the grouping and the inconvenience caused of having to signup to each website separately.

We spoke with CCBill who confirmed they could turn CCBill grouping on, BUT in doing so, all affiliates already promoting BadTushy and TushyLickers would have to change their linking codes. We had tons of affiliates and thousands of links already out on the net and didn't think it was fair to make affiliates have to change their tracking codes on thousands of urls and galleries. It was our affiliates who were loyal from day one who helped build the Tushy brand, and the last thing we would want to do would be to inconvenience them in any way. Our affiliates should not have to suffer and be forced to change out their links, which is why we continued to keep grouping off to this day.

But I am always available to help you out with anything you need. From custom promo content, free hosting, membership accesss, merging affiliate accounts, etc. Whatever you need please hit me up and we will be more than happy to help you out.

Don?t forget to check out all of our sites at TushyCash.com

We have some of the most amazing websites on the net, with the hottest exclusive fetish sites and content. From Spanking, Ass Licking, Medial Fetish, Sleeping Fetish, Passable Shemales, Erotic Massage, Anal Insertions, Femdom, Lesbian Domination, Handjobs, CFNM and more. We shoot exclusive content multiple times per week for our sites, and can provide you with the freshest content available for promotion.

(And Sosa, thanks for the nice words)

Thanks

not ever being inside a Tushy Cash site members area I wouldn't know if there are upsells to other sites in the program or not - if there are, not grouping the sites means affiliates don't get credit for the upsells.

You are mistaken. Having account grouping on or off has absolutely nothing to do with members having access to one or both members areas. :2 cents:

Try again.
