The third item listed here seems to be a better machine, same price with the discount.

Edit: Missed something - the HD is larger on the Costco item.

I wouldn't bother to get a small 15" screen laptop :2 cents:

Depends on what your needs are. Looking for something portable, 15 or 13" screens are prefect. Looking for a desktop replacement? 17" would be better.

www.newegg.com has great prices, do some comparison shopping over there before you buy :2 cents:

If you like working out of cafes or on the road, smaller screens are great. Im thinking of getting a Lenovo S10 unless I get sucked into the MAC ZONE. The more I watch my cousin in law use his Macbook, the more I want to get my own Mac.

For that price, I think it's a pretty solid deal. Cool thing about costco too is they will let you return it without paying a restocking fee, unlike Best Buy and other major retailers (atleast thats how it was about 6 months ago). The only thing a little weird to me is that it has Vista 32-Bit on it, and has 4GB of RAM, 32-Bit Vista can't recognize all 4GB of ram. But yeah, i'd say it's a good buy.

I'm on the road almost all the time, and take my 17" laptop into starbucks or whatever cafe or kinkos all the time, once its in a case you hardly notice the difference carrying it, unless of course you are walking 10 blocks or something
