Dedicated server...spam me

I'm looking to move from shared hosting to dedicated hosting. What are some good companies you guys would recommend that would help with the transfer of my sites?

Right now, I need about 30gb of monthly transfer and unlimited or close to unlimited domains is a must

Thanks

Robocrop 06-28-2009 06:58 PM

Any dedicated server will have unlimited domains . . . whether or not that is a good idea is another discussion.

JuiceMonkey 06-28-2009 07:11 PM

Hit me up if you would like.. Depends on how much you plan to grow.. we could probably have you setup and fully managed for about $139/month with your choice of 8 global locations.

count of monte cristo 06-28-2009 07:14 PM

if you want a 10 meg dedicated server for $75/mo. check out the link in my sig

I'll vouch for Pacificrack. Great group of guys. Never had a problem with them.

Out of all the hosts I have used over the years the only two that I have not had issues with is Webair and PacificRack. AmeriNOC/Phatservers also gets honorable mention for taking such good care of me during my recent setup of a dedicated with them.

Curious as to why you need a dedicated with that level of traffic, there may be some less expensive solutions for you with that level of traffic, depending on what you are are actually running on the sites. You can hit me up on ICQ#56054895 or email using the address below to discuss possible solutions.

Techie Media is no doubt the best choice :thumbsup

Phil21 06-29-2009 01:25 AM

We can provide a fully managed server for $149.95/mo for your traffic levels. Unlimited domains, with free (included) per-IP domain hosting included.

I won't get into the sales pitch, other than to say we've been around for 6 years now - and are part of a group of companies that manage a network of well over 600Gbps of traffic destined for the Internet.

Best of luck!

Why not get a VPS instead?

Altheon 06-29-2009 04:28 PM

VPS would be a much smarter move at your point. I remember going from simple virtual account to VPS and now I've got a dedicated server.

If you can run your own dedicated server great. If you have no idea how to run one from the command line then you'll need help.

If you need the help make sure these plans include fully managed and get a list of stuff they manage because "fully managed" means different things from host to host.

Rick,

We will help you with the migration from your current shared host and get everything setup on your new dedicated running as it should be.
Check out our offer again above, it would be very good for your needs!

Rick Diculous 07-02-2009 05:12 AM

After reading your comments, I might not need dedicated after all. What would you guys suggest?

Bullet 07-02-2009 05:42 AM

hit me in icq. maybe we could give You managed server for free....
104327042

TyroneGoldberg 07-02-2009 07:54 AM

Go with a shared not virtual from phatsevers. they limit how many user are on the box. so the server is bogged down. the low cost one limits 8 user per box, plus they give you 8 ips.

When you can get a dedi for the same price as a VPS, why bother??
