is there a way to keep IE6 on your computer when you upgrade to IE7?
is there? i'd hate to lose the ability to see what problems a website has displayed in IE6
|
I'm pretty sure IE is tied to the OS that you can only have 1 version of IE installed at any given time.

yeah that's the way it's always been - wondering if there's a way around it

What about IE 8? Could not bring my self to install it. Same with like icq update: people bitch you get a negative impression about something and it causes uncertainty.
Check this also: "First comes Microsoft's appeal to your sense of altruism. If you'll just download and try Internet Explorer 8, the company will donate eight meals to charity. Those must be some cheap meals, though; the fine print says the company is donating just $1.15 per download, up to a maximum of $1,000,00. Still, it's an interesting way to get you to try the browser." . ..ok, wtf? source |
