Prediction that Madoff dies in about 2 years

This will be interesting.

Or less. Of natural causes.

He stole a lot and he's scum for that... but he has done a lifetime's worth of living and he's probably close to death anyway.

His sons and the rest of the family have a TON of money hidden that should last them for generations. They are probably the richest family in America.

I think that if I were 72 years old and just got sent to prison for the rest of my life, I'd be dead as soon as I had a few moments and the means to off myself.

Thats the only way he can send a 'fuck you' to the system now.

Yeah I agree the official cause of death will most likely be natural. And I should have said about 2 years or less. Perhaps something sudden such as a heart attack.

An alternative ending would be ...

He discovers Vipassana meditation, becomes a new person, helps people outside of prison by writing them, helps others by ministering to fellow inmates through group meditation and group therapy/group healing. Asks forgiveness from all. Told to fuck off. Frees his conscience.

And dies happy and free.

NOTE: I don't condone or support his crime. Just exploring differing endings

i say sooner...an honorable thing is to go japanese and do it himself asap...that way hes not still taking our money with 3 squares a day, gaurds and milking our money for all the attention he'll need in prison....

or maybe hell get shanked in the shower, afterall someone that lost money has to have someone in prison already...

He's already lived longer than both of my parents did, and they were good and honest people.

After living in the luxury that he has I could definitely see prison life killing him pretty quick. You know it won't be the guilt eating at him.

Fuck Madoff, and all the clannishness that fed his scheme.

Bernie proved that just because you are Jewish, doesn't mean you are a mensch.

Hopefully some of his victims will have learned an important lesson themselves, to look less at religion and their own ethnicity, and more at character and facts.

He's gonna go from living like a king to eating prison food. Not sure what kind of a prison he's going to, but perhaps he'll learn how to toss the salad.

True that, aging effects on the body in prison are slower. His 'victims' are no better than him, word on the street was that he was able to make constant profits by having inside information being former chair and all, his investors wanted in on the action and got what they deserved.
