Burger King all the way :1orglaugh:pimp

mikesinner 06-30-2009 04:29 AM

It's the people eating at McDonald's that are turning this world into shit.

Eat shit and put money into the pockets of the people making shit so they can feed more shit to people that turn into shit.

It's not food. Eat more fruit. McDonald's will definitely give you cancer in the long run. It's not even real meat.

Looks like we got a hater inside. Seriously, it's the people's own choice to go to McDonalds. It's not like they get a gun to their heads and get forced to go inside and eat.

Sure, there's a thing as addiction but the people who get addicted to McDonald's food are hopeless anyway, so why bother. (Yes I don't like it too) :pimp

SilentKnight 06-30-2009 04:53 AM

Yeah, blame McDonald's for someone's inability irresponsibility. :disgust

Like blaming the gun manufacturers for everyone who gets shot.

Not to be insensitive to overweight peeps, but if you're fat...it's not someone else's fault.

tranza 06-30-2009 05:04 AM

Mmm, McDonalds and Burgen King kicks ass

bufferover 06-30-2009 05:09 AM

Dirty Lord 06-30-2009 05:12 AM

Cheddar Mc Melt > ALL

viki 06-30-2009 05:13 AM

It's definitely your choice to eat wherever you want, but when there's a place where you can get food cheaper than cooking for yourself people will go there. That's why poverty and obesity go hand in hand much of the time.

I don't get the argument that it is cheaper than cooking for yourself. How much does a bunch of ground meat cost and how many meals could you get out of it even if you made your own burgers?

sexandcash 06-30-2009 05:19 AM

I love their $1 caramel or chocolate ice cream sundaes.....mmmmmm

pornguy 06-30-2009 06:30 AM

I went there for the first time in a year and had an egg Mc Muffin about 3 weeks ago.

Chicks Delivery 06-30-2009 06:44 AM

Mc Fish is the best!!!!!!

Yngwie 06-30-2009 08:07 AM

yesterday I had an angus burger with cheese and bacon, a crispy chicken burger, 10 nuggets, a double big mac and a large fry. All from McDonalds of course. Of course, I'm not fat at all (5'11 - 160pounds) and I can't gain weight no matter what I do. The only time I gain weight is when I get a hard-on. lol

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I can (and do) eat like that too and never gain a ounce. (6' - 165lbs)

Fortunately, lot's of chicks dig the staving artist look. :kisskiss

BTW - Good taste in music. Yngwie and Blackmore RULE.

Scott McD 06-30-2009 08:21 AM

I think i was just a little under this weight when i was at school...

If it's not real meat - what is it?

SuzzyQ 06-30-2009 08:32 AM

My husband can eat McDonalds for breakfast but if he eats McD's for dinner it goes through him like Tijuana water goes through a first time tourtist.

intellichat 06-30-2009 08:34 AM

Mc D's sucks ass... it tastes like cardboard lol

Tom_PM 06-30-2009 08:44 AM

If there was any argument to be made that mcdonalds is partially responsible, it's this myth that fast food is less expensive. It's simply not. They perpetuate the myth without actually stating it of course. I even saw a chicken place pose the "question" of "Now where can you get all this for only 5 dolla's?". At a grocery store is the answer of course, but they dont want the question answered... only posed and left hanging..

The other key to making it yourself of course is that it requires some physical effort. Shopping. Chopping an onion, moving around the kitchen etc. Those are calories burned doing it yourself. And if you grow the onions, even better since you burn a lot more calories tending it than you'll ever gain by eating it.

I guarantee you that you can buy more food at any grocery store than the same "food" at any fast food place.

Martin 06-30-2009 08:44 AM

It's okay once in awhile. Everything in moderation is key to living past 50.

in a way it's good that we don't gain an ounce otherwise with the way that I eat I would weigh like 800 pounds. :1orglaugh

And ya, Yngwie and Blackmore do rule.. You should check out Yngwie's new cd Perpetual Flame. He now has the ex singer of Iced Earth. (Tim Owens)

You're right when you say you can buy more at the grocery store. What you buy at the grocery store will make you many meals. I still eat fast food, but it's not my main source of food.

StaceyJo 06-30-2009 09:49 AM

Mcdonald's Coke float.

This thread made me throw up in my mouth. Just a little.

viki 06-30-2009 09:52 AM

I cook nearly every meal, but I think fast food is less expensive than eating at home, especially in poverty stricken areas.

I'm talking about the simple stuff: burgers, fries, tacos. I'd say it costs $1.50 to make a burger at home figuring in meat, bread, cheese, lettuce, tomato, condiments and you can buy one for a buck.

Besides that, the poorer an area is, the less access there is to grocery stores. If you have to shop at 7-11 for all the ingredients, that burger will cost you way more than $1.50 even.

People do have choices and I don't believe McDonalds is evil or anything like that. However, fast food does contribute to obesity one way or another and I think the lower your class level is, the harder you get hit.

koreanbbque 06-30-2009 10:10 AM

i think i'm gonna crush me some Chicken Nuggets today. Too bad the McRib isn't in season :(

true, but if you buy the meant and other stuff you can make way more than one burger. Plus, $1.50 for a burger at a McDonalds here does not get you much of a "meal". More like a small snack. A double big mac over here costs $5.19 +tax and that's alone.. No drink.. No fries.. So that's 1 burger when you can spent a little more to buy the meat and the buns (you more than likely already have the condiments at home) and make many burgers. So saying that fast food is cheaper than cooking at home is not entirely true.

Steve OSS 06-30-2009 10:44 AM

I just got back from lunch at McDonalds. I've recently taken on the challenge of hopefully getting in the best shape of my life. It was painful going in there and watching one of my counterparts eat a quarter pounder meal while I forked away salad :(

PetMyKitty 06-30-2009 10:51 AM

if all the money you have for the day is $2 then you can buy 2 burgers off the dollar menu.

you can not buy meat, buns, etc for $2 from the grocery store

if you had $20 then the best value would be going to the store and getting all of the stuff you need. but if you only have a few bucks then you go to mcdonalds and get what you can get with your $2

96ukssob 06-30-2009 10:52 AM

I like their fish sandwhich, thats about the only thing i will eat there

well ok, in that case got for the $2 burger.

Furious_Male 06-30-2009 11:03 AM

I cant think of a single item I like at McDonalds.

Tom_PM 06-30-2009 11:19 AM

If all you have is $2, you should be getting government cheese and LOTS of local, state and federal food aid! lol stop it!

Tom_PM 06-30-2009 11:24 AM

BTW, you think all these mcd customers in "poverty" areas dont have $100 shoes and cable fucking tv plus cell phones? just stop. It's am absolute CHOICE, not a feed lot they're caged into!

puuuullleasssssse

You could not buy meat or even pasta and veggies that would divide down to $2 per serving? I call bull. People can it just takes planning and isn't as easy. If you have a family of four and you all have a $2 burger that is $8. You can make a family meal from scratch for $8.

Tom_PM 06-30-2009 11:48 AM

$1.99 /lb beef at my store. Giant head of lettuce (bigger than my head) $1.29, pack of buns 99 cents, onion, tomato maybe a couple bucks bought loose.

Besides which, you know it's hard to *prevent* tomatoes from growing in most places on earth. Just slam a ripe one onto some dirt sometime in summer and wait. lol Even cheaper
