yeah, horrible stuff near the border on the UA side. My friend told me a story about how they went on some school trip to Lviv or something and the bus got robbed by guys with machine guns. Heard other stories about guys in mercedes getting carjacked, etc. Even shitty cars were getting stolen.

the horrible shit is when there is no shop working between Dec 24 and Dec 27 and u can die starving, thats horrible, reminds me about good Poland :)

hah we're no better off here with that stuff. Some absurd catholic church holiday pops up out of nowhere, and suddenly EVERY store is closed and you with no warning (unless you are religious of course) cannot buy food or anything at all and have to live off gas station hotdogs for 2-3 days until the mystery holiday is over.

I actually stocked up a bunch of those instant noodles and other 'emergency food' in my house for when one of these holidays comes around so i have something to eat.
