Screwed by CCBill?

I am wondering if CCBill is messing with us. My partner and I are running a site and we earned $1702 last month. Yet both of us only received a check of $555 last month. Which means we got $1110. That means that 35% of our earnings were gobbled up on CCBill's end somewhere. Can this be explained in any logical way? I don't mind paying their highest fees at the bottom tier of 16% plus revolver but 35% is absolutely insane!

Thanks! :helpme

Dirty Dane 06-30-2009 01:45 PM

The date of payment depends on billing type. With check and phones it might be delayed. Why don't you ask them? Or have you checked the billing type?

alias 06-30-2009 01:46 PM

Rolling reserve?

Just saying ccbill screwed you without finding out the facts is just stupid. I suspect you are really just an idiot in webmaster clothing. :2 cents:

Click on the reports tab -> accounting -> check amounts

There you ought to see where the money has gone, or atleast see if there's something obvious

BV 06-30-2009 01:51 PM

ccbill pays weekly, so explain to me how you got a check for last month????

i smell bullshit

You can change the payment schedule. I get my payments from one account bi-weekly, and one account when I reach a certain amount.

stickyfingerz 06-30-2009 01:52 PM

Call your rep and they will explain it in detail. It can be confusing with hold backs etc.

I have never dealt with a company which was and is as honest as CCBill. They are absolutely reliable.

I really canīt understand those accusations. Just ask their support and they will explain.

i doubt that is the case here

Besides minimum amount, you can also change the frequency of payouts by contacting them. Don't know if this is the case here, though..

alias 06-30-2009 01:55 PM

CCbill sent me a check from an account that they put on hold because the mail got returned from an old address 4 years ago. They are not screwing you.

lol, you know those pull-down menus where Afghanistan is the first country? Well, I forgot to choose correct country and a payout check ended up at a main post office in Afghanistan. Then 3 years later the army sent me a letter with the check that they had confiscated :1orglaugh . Oh..and it was due :winkwink:

lagcam 06-30-2009 02:19 PM

Your partner is more likely to be screwing you than ccbill from my experience !

Tanker 06-30-2009 02:46 PM

You cant go wrong with CCBill there most likely is rolling reserve, your normal fees, maybe your $750 visa fee if this is your first check with them could be anything but I doubt its CCBill just taking your money

They are top notch and Ron doesn't need the money he surely is not just taking it to be an ass!

Just read your payments report in the stats

You should give them a call. They answer the phone 24/7. CCbill's customer support is excellent.

CCBill is top notch really. Their staff is good. They seem to be quick to weed out the weak employees and take care of the good ones.

brassmonkey 06-30-2009 04:00 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if a good chunk of mail that makes it to the Kabul post office is because of poorly thought out drop-down boxes like those.

CCBill Paul 06-30-2009 04:21 PM

Thank you for the kind words everyone. I am quite sure there is a valid explanation.

There is the 10% hold back and 14.5% transaction fees and then all the affiliate payouts and affiliate 10% referrals if you offer them

Gotcha, thought you meant the post at first.

We should all stop responding to this thread and let it get buried. If you have the urge to post to this thread..pop over to an ibill thread instead.
