4th of July Plans?

Not sure what I'm going to do. They shut downtown off and bring in all kinds of crafts, nicnak kind of stuff and great food so I might walk down. Then they have fireworks going off at the local baseball stadium so I'm not sure where I'll be watching them.

What plans do you have?

justinsain 07-01-2009 08:21 AM

I'll be at the Daytona Speedway for the afternoon Rolex Series race and the evening NASCAR race followed by fireworks over the track :thumbsup

I'm taking a bunch of people out for the day on my boat and will watch some fireworks from the boat at night also.:thumbsup

SykkBoy 07-01-2009 11:59 AM

I'm heading to Woming, buyin enough fireworks to start a small munitions dump and going to blow shit up real good...I love really lax fireworks laws...unlike the fireworks nazism here in Las Vegas :)

Vicious_B 07-01-2009 12:08 PM

So far no plans. Might say screw it all and just chill out at home in the quiet.

It's my son's 25th birthday. We're grilling at home (that's what he wants) and watching fireworks from the decks. We can see several shows from my house including 2 major ones in Seattle.

3 boxes at The Hollywood Bowl for 12 friends to eat, drink (a lot) and be merry while listening to the Los Angeles Philharmonic and enjoying some pretty ridiculous (in a good way) fireworks...then beach house!

ronin 07-01-2009 02:11 PM

my plan is to stay in Hermosa Bch and play some volleyball

GrouchyAdmin 07-01-2009 02:11 PM

Two chicks at the same time.

brassmonkey 07-01-2009 02:14 PM

Meeper 07-01-2009 02:18 PM

Sounds fun, I just moved downtown here and I do get fireworks every other Friday night as the baseball stadium is so close.

She is doing really well. She is really starting to learn the whole housebreaking thing which is great!
I did end up taking her to a BBQ on Saturday where her mom and 2 sisters live and she had a blast running and wrestling with the other dogs. We ended up going to another friends house to watch fireworks from their backyard. We were about a block and a half away from where they were setting them off and I was a little worried about the noise scaring her but she is absolutely fearless. Not even the really big booms or the finale made her flinch. She watched the sky until she fell asleep on my shoulder.
