LadyboyBucks/AsianTS.com Blatantly Cheating Their Affiliates Out Of Sales

Cliff Notes:
  • AsianTS.com join page has direct links to Epoch.
  • Affiliates do not get credit for any referred traffic that signs up directly through Epoch on AsianTS.com. We only get credit for Epoch sales if they are passed through CCBill?s cascading system.
  • CCBill acknowledges this and writes the owners at AsianTS.com on my behalf saying
?it may upset some affiliates who feel that by offering a direct link to Epoch you are receiving ?free? referrals.?
  • Putting direct links to other billers even when you are using CCBill as your primary biller and affiliate management script does not violate any terms for using CCBill
  • AsianTS writes me saying they ?certainly aren't changing a thing on our join page just based on one person {you} complaining.?
  • If you promote AsianTS.com then please write supportats -a- gmail.com to express your concern

Detailed Account (emails, asiants main admin screen shots)

I have been promoting AsianTS.com for 4 years and have amassed 500 custom galleries and hundreds of blogs posts in advertising their site. I noticed awhile back that my ratios went from 1:900 to 1:3000 and looked into why this drop in conversions had happened. I went to their join page and saw that they had direct links to Epoch. Directly linking to Epoch bypasses CCBill?s cascading feature so sales that are made through Epoch in this manner completely leave out the affiliate in the transaction.

My detailed account is too big to fit into this post. I posted a page on my site. Please visit the page for a detailed account of my dealings with AsianTS. If you promote AsianTS or Ladyboybucks then you should read the whole page. Affiliates aren't getting the return they should from AsianTS. Click the link below:

uncredited joins are good if they have lots of prechecks

Thanks for the heads up. I'm glad I use a click tracking script so pulling their links will take less than a minute.

The lady said she was doing nothing wrong. That must mean its good?

But not good enough as there are no cross sales what so ever.

Doug E 07-03-2009 02:21 PM

Thanks for the thread.

I had their galleries incorporated into a blog/tgp network I was going to grow this year. I just pulled the galleries and will have production stopped on the blog entries.

This could be a great drama thread after the holiday. By my calculations, ladyboybucks active webmaster count is now 297.

I realize your intentions were to get more people to complain. But this lady lied to your face for several months. That may not be her fault. She could be a genuine idiot as she still uses aol and she forgot to black out the totals. None the less, you should probably drop the program like everyone else will do when they read this.

I already don't actively promote them. But when I still send traffic to their site even since I've stopped promoting them and get a 1:3000 return... my sales to the site are still relevant and worth bitching about.

lol... not just me though... anyone who promotes AsianTS. The site was great under the old management.

selena 07-03-2009 03:09 PM

Thanks for this heads up. I have not been paying any attention to my ratios with them. I had always done decent with them, and assumed I still was.

My bad.

I just looked at both accounts I have, and my ratios are

1:6306

1:2691

It's hard enough making sales anymore without sending traffic to join pages that have uncredited links on them.

selena 07-03-2009 03:30 PM

I just mailed them and told them that I was stopping any new personal promotion effective immediately.

Did you post this on the tranny webmaster board?

Yeah I posted this on the tranny board. Thanks for emailing them about this. I also wrote all my submitters and trades about it. Thanks again Selena

Quagmire 07-03-2009 04:11 PM

links are now pulled. :(

seanchai 07-03-2009 04:32 PM

I'm really surprised at this as its the same owner and he's always usually been forthcoming and very good. I'll drop him a note and see if we can get some feedback.

commonsense 07-03-2009 04:55 PM

Seriously, I doubt they care much now. They're old school and even if EVERY Ladyboybucks webmasters pull their links it won't make a bit of difference traffic wise. They have so many old/forgotten links out there.

A good warning for new webmasters, though new webmasters probably wouldn't bother trying to push them anyways :2 cents:

This is the boat I'm in... I have my own stuff from 4 years ago still generating traffic to them. I also bought galleries and a domain from someone that was posting for them even further back than that. AKA I'm kinda fucked

SomeCreep 07-03-2009 05:44 PM

Glad I don't promote them.

Miguel T 07-03-2009 05:52 PM

Good thing I never promoted them...

selena 07-03-2009 06:18 PM

This is what I got:

Hi Selena, what I don't understand is why the poster of that thread
gets no credit for sales but so many other people do..... we pay out
through CCBill every single week for sales that have cascaded to Epoch
for more than 2 dozen affiliates; makes me think, as I explained to
him, that his codes are old and need to be updated and perhaps yours
do as well.

We followed all the requirements CCBill and Epoch asked of us
when we started the cascade plan about a year ago, and as far as we
know we are doing nothing wrong and the payments sent out through
CCBill each week back that up.....truth be told we make less than one
sale per day with them as a back-up so I am still not quite sure what
the big drama is all about.

Thanks, Julie

420 07-03-2009 06:30 PM

That email should've read more like this.

The old codes must need updating because I posted a screen shot that indicates we give our affiliates credit for the epoch sales that got scrubbed at ccbill.

This clearly shows she has no idea what she is doing. I'm going to change out all codes on all my galleries and blog posts? Each gallery I submit goes to about 250 tgps so approx 250 new html pages are made for each gallery. That adds up to about 125000 pages that I need to change the codes on. Yeah, Yeah most of these pages aren't getting traffic but I have to adjust to this? I've never heard of having to redo some legacy linking codes to fit a new update done by a site.. its always the other way around. All of this goes without saying that the linking codes aren't the problem. They get straight profit from all who sign up directly by clicking on the Epoch banner to join.

The screenshots here clearly show that the cascade option for Epoch is working (accounting for 4% of all sales) but the direct linking to Epoch is not working and never has.

As a back up ok.... but how many direct sales do you get to Epoch is the question. I wonder if she would give me that screen shot.

twinvisible 07-03-2009 09:43 PM

They pulled the direct links to Epoch on the join page.

Randomonium 07-03-2009 09:53 PM

For future reference instead of sending directly to a sponsor, maybe send to a redirect (one per affiliate link) so that if you want you can redirect that traffic by changing a single file.

I know it doesn't help for all of the old links, but this is not the first and will not be the last time that a webmaster wants to redirect their traffic, but the task of changing all the links is too huge.

Imagine that. :2 cents:

I have no idea who's running that site these days, but the people who used to run it were on top of shit. I'm surprised to see this error, even if it was an honest mistake.

nekrom 07-04-2009 06:03 AM

Don't worry it was the outsourced programmers fault.
