LadyboyBucks/AsianTS.com Blatantly Cheating Their Affiliates Out Of Sales
Cliff Notes:
Detailed Account (emails, asiants main admin screen shots) I have been promoting AsianTS.com for 4 years and have amassed 500 custom galleries and hundreds of blogs posts in advertising their site. I noticed awhile back that my ratios went from 1:900 to 1:3000 and looked into why this drop in conversions had happened. I went to their join page and saw that they had direct links to Epoch. Directly linking to Epoch bypasses CCBill?s cascading feature so sales that are made through Epoch in this manner completely leave out the affiliate in the transaction. My detailed account is too big to fit into this post. I posted a page on my site. Please visit the page for a detailed account of my dealings with AsianTS. If you promote AsianTS or Ladyboybucks then you should read the whole page. Affiliates aren't getting the return they should from AsianTS. That sucks! Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

uncredited joins are good if they have lots of prechecks

Thanks for the heads up. I'm glad I use a click tracking script so pulling their links will take less than a minute.

noooooooooooo :Hollering :Hollering

But not good enough as there are no cross sales what so ever. |
Thanks for the thread.
I had their galleries incorporated into a blog/tgp network I was going to grow this year. I just pulled the galleries and will have production stopped on the blog entries. |
This could be a great drama thread after the holiday. By my calculations, ladyboybucks active webmaster count is now 297.
I realize your intentions were to get more people to complain. But this lady lied to your face for several months. That may not be her fault. She could be a genuine idiot as she still uses aol and she forgot to black out the totals. None the less, you should probably drop the program like everyone else will do when they read this. |

Thanks for this heads up. I have not been paying any attention to my ratios with them. I had always done decent with them, and assumed I still was.
My bad. I just looked at both accounts I have, and my ratios are 1:6306 1:2691 It's hard enough making sales anymore without sending traffic to join pages that have uncredited links on them. |
I just mailed them and told them that I was stopping any new personal promotion effective immediately.
Did you post this on the tranny webmaster board? |

links are now pulled. :(

I'm really surprised at this as its the same owner and he's always usually been forthcoming and very good. I'll drop him a note and see if we can get some feedback.
|
Seriously, I doubt they care much now. They're old school and even if EVERY Ladyboybucks webmasters pull their links it won't make a bit of difference traffic wise. They have so many old/forgotten links out there.
A good warning for new webmasters, though new webmasters probably wouldn't bother trying to push them anyways :2 cents: |

Glad I don't promote them.

Good thing I never promoted them...

This is what I got:
Hi Selena, what I don't understand is why the poster of that thread gets no credit for sales but so many other people do..... we pay out through CCBill every single week for sales that have cascaded to Epoch for more than 2 dozen affiliates; makes me think, as I explained to him, that his codes are old and need to be updated and perhaps yours do as well. We followed all the requirements CCBill and Epoch asked of us when we started the cascade plan about a year ago, and as far as we know we are doing nothing wrong and the payments sent out through CCBill each week back that up.....truth be told we make less than one sale per day with them as a back-up so I am still not quite sure what the big drama is all about. Thanks, Julie |
That email should've read more like this.
The old codes must need updating because I posted a screen shot that indicates we give our affiliates credit for the epoch sales that got scrubbed at ccbill. |

The screenshots here clearly show that the cascade option for Epoch is working (accounting for 4% of all sales) but the direct linking to Epoch is not working and never has. |

They pulled the direct links to Epoch on the join page.
|
For future reference instead of sending directly to a sponsor, maybe send to a redirect (one per affiliate link) so that if you want you can redirect that traffic by changing a single file.
I know it doesn't help for all of the old links, but this is not the first and will not be the last time that a webmaster wants to redirect their traffic, but the task of changing all the links is too huge. |
very nice

I have no idea who's running that site these days, but the people who used to run it were on top of shit. I'm surprised to see this error, even if it was an honest mistake. |
Don't worry it was the outsourced programmers fault.
