FACT : I get $40 a sign up.....BUT!!!!!!
 

I don't use per sign up.

I use revshare.

I ran my "all time" stats in NATS for Dogfart and by using revshare 100% of the time
the total amount actually earned per sign up is $40.64.

Starting 02/15/2007 until today. (switched to NATS 2-15-2007)

Of course Dogfart pays up to $60 per sign up if you can send volume.
But if you are like me then revshare on dogfart makes more money than the
$35 per sign up on other programs.

At CamspotCash we have a great program that does really well. Its the PPS+REV.

I tell new affilaites all the time to do a combo of links. Use PPS and Rev 75% PPS and 25 %

revshare's the way to go with the right site, you get some lovely multi month and even year long retentions, you're doing much better than pps

I have never used PPS with dogfart.


100% of the time I used revshare links only, not 100% payout on revshare.

Fact....

the fact is that dogfart offers 10% for webmaster referals...
they are good sponsors though... my revshare stats are at $37.16... and their PPS is $30-$60...

Not trying to thread jack, but it's true.. we just started paying 40 per join and a few of our affiliates don't want any part of it, one broke down his stats for me and makes over 50 per sale on ave due to good rebills.

Back when I first started I was afraid of revshare cause I needed to pay my bills.. but after a couple of years I had friends who were able to take vacations and got paid while they were gone, ..me, if I didn't keep up the hustle my rev would dry up. I mean archive traffic, especially several years ago, only takes you so far.

Good rev share stats but to get an accurate comparison of rev share vs PPS you have to take into account the reinvestment potential of the PPS. If you receive $35 immediately you can reinvest that money (or a portion) into your business or new opportunities and generate additional income.

Dogfart's $34.95 price point kind of turns me off though :(

I can understand that.

I'd rather forgo some of the profit to get a fixed PPS payout. In today's economy, I can't take the risk. Losing a couple bucks per join to get paid today is a good tradeoff for me.

I certainly don't know every sponsor that ever failed but the only ones I'm used to
seeing fail are the ones that had PPS at start up.

I can only assume that lots of trial sign ups didn't re-bill and the sponsor ran out
of cash paying $35 for 1000's of $2.99 trials that didn't convert.

If I could get to that point I would probably re-tract my statements about going mainstream. :thumbsup

Dogfart was actually out before I got into adult but I was in the first 1200 webmasters
that signed up. (judging by my BOB ID number)

I can't remember when I joined but it's got to be about 10 years now.
