I am still friends with every girl I have been in love with... which is 3, going back since the time that I was 15 years old. Some women I date seem to think it is dysfunctional, for the most part. Even though two of them are married with kids. But out of the 3, that was 14 years of my life.

I am actually quite proud of this fact. I don't broadcast it or anything, but if women I date ask, I do tell them that I have zero drama as far as ex's and give them that example. So WTF is wrong with keeping in touch with women that I loved a looong time ago?

So, I was just curious if any of you have this situation as well.

Also, maybe I subconsciously say it because once I have blown their mind about being in the Adult Industry, perhaps a track record of relationship stability evens things out... or maybe that is just fucked up logic.

lol. true though, i used to do that route, actually, but women tend to pick up on things and i have found that in the long run, honesty is the best policy unless she is a one night stand.

I had a girlfriend in college who insisted she was "just friends" with her ex boyfriend. I told her that the only reason he still called her was that he wanted to get back with her. She said I was crazy.

Fast forward a few years after the relationship ended. I see the guy out in public. We chat for a few. He admits that the only reason he still talked to her back then was because he wanted to get back together with her. No shit! :1orglaugh

I think those who still remain friends with their ex's are just leaving the door open for a future fuck, fling, whatever. You might see your friendships with your ex's as a good quality, sort of like reassuring all future girls that you won't cause any post-breakup drama.

No girl (or guy for that matter) wants their current boyfriend/girlfriend to interact with any guy/girl they once fucked. You want that chapter of their lives to be done.

Like being in a relationship is such an honest thing in the first place... keep it to yourself and enjoy.

my current gf (of 3 years) and i are good friends with my ex of 5 years. We went to her wedding, we go on trips together etc... The me gf met my ex afte rwe started dating, its not like they were friends before. It is possible
