Rejoice ant haters of the northern USA - It's July 10!
 

OK lots of us get ants. Well, having kept notice over the years, July 10 the Ants go back underground for 6 more weeks of building, stocking and moving sand before the last of August when it can get nippy for an ant at night. This is in Minn and I assume if your in the northern snow belt at about the same latitude. Sooner in Canada. Later in Missouri.

Amazing really. The little buggers were highly active the last 2 days and today guess what, hardly any. Like clockwork nature is. Thank goodness. :)

Keep track where you are. They will leave the same day next year. Good to know cause there kind of a pain if ya have pets and stuff.
