Return of the Beer Can Chicken (Czech style) {pics}
Fired up the Q, and roasted up another beer can chicken. This time is used Pilsner Urquell beer, instead of my normal Creemore Springs lager.
Seasoned with garlic (to plug the hole), rock salt, mixed herb, and sea weed. Served with coleslaw, cous cous, roasted veggies, and lots more Pilsner Urquell. It was soooo tasty :thumbsup http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._3870976_n.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._6494184_n.jpg http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos...0_946413_n.jpg http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._4766387_n.jpg http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._6756910_n.jpg |

Tasty! Beer can chicken is now my fave method of cokking them. I was skeptical when I first tried it, but the results were amazing. We could chicken this way at least once a month now.

I gotta try this one day..trying to locate that unit is the hard part
|
Does the beer actually flavor the chicken enough to where you can taste it? I need to try it and find out. Looks very good.
