What's the name of this classic horror film?

I'm looking for the name of a 50's or 60's horror movie that begins with a man being tied to four horses that start going in different directions to quarter him, but are unable to and the riders fall off. And another scene is of riding through a forest full of trees with corpses hanging from them. Anyone?

I am pretty knowledgeable about classic horror films but I am drawing a blank on that one. I will consult a better source and will hopefully get an answer for you.

Hmm, I don't know this one either but for some reason it made me remember another old movie I loved.

Don't know, but it sounds very painful and sounds like a good horror film.

Which reminds me... I saw a film... As I recall it was a horror film

I'm better with whore flicks than horror movies.

I guess I just like happy endings... :)

I used to have an old VHS copy under the title Castle Of The Walking Dead, back in the tape trading/e-zine days (long before these young whippersnappers had the internet and their P2P and torrents ;-) Sadly, it was sent to someone on the mailing list that didn't return it...

qxm 07-13-2009 09:56 AM

dam.. the only thing that comes to mind is Sleepy Hollow... however that movie is certainly not from that decade...

I finally got a VHS to DVD burner a few months ago, just haven't had time to try and move some stuff over. The quality on the old VHS are such shit but alot of that stuff isn't on DVD yet. :( doesn't help much either that most of these movies went by 3 to 5 different titles :winkwink:
