Pulp Fiction 2

They should make PF 2!

iSpyCams 07-18-2009 11:55 AM

Nah. I think the story was pretty complete. A sequel could never live up to the original and would only cheapen the characters.

mrwilson 07-18-2009 11:56 AM

Pulpfiction is a quality film, i watched it so many times now aswell.

Same as trainspotting :thumbsup

The only way they could make it work if it was a totally unrelated story, with a completely new set of characters.

Matyko 07-18-2009 12:19 PM

No, never, please do not! Tarantino would never do PF2.

Manowar 07-18-2009 12:29 PM

i think a sequel might ruin it though

According to wikipedia... Tarantino has stated there is no explanation for contents of the briefcase. It was originally going to contain the diamonds from Reservoir Dogs, but they decided against it. In an interview with Tarantino's fellow director and friend Robert Rodriguez, he said that the knowledge of the contents of the briefcase radically alters one's understanding of the movie.

burntfilm 07-18-2009 01:07 PM

brassmonkey 07-18-2009 02:47 PM

Sequels are rarely a good thing.

John-ACWM 07-19-2009 05:08 AM

I'm afraid it's not possible. Some movies are not made for sequels.

SBJ 07-19-2009 05:12 AM

I read the title and was like "oh shit they are making another one?!?" but like others in here i don't think they will or should. That is one amazing movie but it was completed.

MsCheyenne 07-19-2009 05:26 AM

Supposedly Quentin Tarantino sent John Travolta a script called "The Vegas Brothers" that is based on his PF character. This is said to have been years ago and Travolta has never responded.

Has anyone seen Reservoir Dogs?

Cheyenne

yes, it was and whatever lose ends were left, they were tied in Kill Bill and Kill Bill 2

Did you know that Jules from PF was the Piano Man killed in the church during the wedding rehearsals?
http://www.tarantino.info/wiki/index.php/Rufus

The PF is as complete as the movie can be.

Reservoir Dogs is a classic!!! The dialogs are flawless and have big weight in the movie, real Tarantino style. Like the ones about why they don't name nobody "mr black" and the Madonna conversation in the beginning.. Crazyyyy. :thumbsup:pimp

Inglorious Basterds is gonna be awesome, someday if Quenten Tarantino dies or goes broke somebody will probably make some random piece of crap movie and slap the name "Pulp Fiction II" on it and the franchise will be forever tainted.

The only thing that has a chance at not totally sucking would be a prequel. Back story on all the characters and what they were all doing up until the moment that Pulp Fiction kicked off. But the chances of getting all those actors together again AND making them look younger or the same age as the original are prohibitively slim IMO.

bobby666 07-19-2009 07:05 AM

i still haven't seen part 1

Very Well Said

Worried about Inglorious Bastards. Brad Pitt's acting on the previews doesn't make it look very good. Kinda hard to tell what it will be like at this point.
