Need help setting up phplist for my new blog
 

Hey guys, I am really new at all of this and I thought I was a genius cause I got wordpress running, now I am trying to get phplist going on my new hostgator account and I realise I have no clue what I am doing.

Is there somebody GFY recommends who can set it up for me and what is the going rate for that kind of assistance.

I got phplist installed (fantastico install) I got WP running, I got the little plugin that allows people to enter their emails in WP and get subscribed to phplist,

but when I subscribe myself in my blog I get the email from PHPlist and when I click the confirmation link I get a 404 error.

The more I mess with the settings the more I realise that I really have no clue what I am doing and could use some help getting phplist running. Beyond my own configuration I understand there could also be some issues with my hostgator account settings.
