WP peeps --- Question on how spiders view the sidebar
I found a new template for a blog that I haven't made an appearance change on since 2005. It badly needs updated to allow me to do some of the stuff that I want to do. After looking at what seems like 40,000 templates, I found one that I really would like to use.
Question is this... The new template has categories in a pull down list. Is there any SEO disadvantage towards having that setup versus all the categories listed in the sidebar? I am unsure as to whether the spiders read what is in the pull down menu even if it is not all visible at once to the surfer. I really like the looks of the pull down menu better, but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot either. Guidance, as always, is muchly appreciated. :) |
Need to see the template in question I think.
