What's the best way to attract new affiliates?

I've heard that so much depends on the quality and diversity of your program.

Also heard don't post on the boards... only will do more harm then good.

Bottom line IMO is what converts and what doesn't...

ISTV is your program?

Depends on what your selling... sometimes my traffic just isn't a match.

If your program has a reputation for conversion it will do well. Some big sites have crap affiliate programs but because they convert affiliates couldn't care less.

Once you can monetise your own site, the affiliates will come :thumbsup

signbucks 07-20-2009 11:59 PM

we have some programs where each 3rd affiliate is referred by sbd (200+ aff at all)

and yeah, the bottom line is if sites sell affiliates come themselves

I'm interested in knowing what ya look for... alot of great programs out there and ALOT of affiliate tools. I've developed sites and one thing I look for from affiliates is easily updated content for my sites...

But my big question is... with all that new material. Is it a means to make your site updated often AND make you more sales... or just a means to update your site?

What makes you more money?

The reason I ask, is because the website says updated February at top. The first thing I think about is that this website do not update often = less rebills. Of course you may offer permanent PPS, but there is usually a catch. Attracting affiliates is not that difficult, but it is more important to keep them :)

I think that would depend on what somebody is posting on the boards.

Keep it professional and helpful and I have no idea how that could hurt you.

In fact, one of the most popular and best converting gay programs I know also own one of the most popular gay webmaster boards. That board creates a special bond between affiliates and the program while providing a great resource for everyone else.

I'll be straight up... I'm actually gonna take that site of my sig after I post this...

vstrip is different and doing really well...

3 reasons:

free webcam shows for members
2.95 trial which most are rebilling
flash games and can't rip the content

Now before anyone jumps my case I haven't had a drink in over 8 mos and I don't think any one should not drink cause hell it's a lot of fun but... For someone looking to get affiliates making tons of drunk posts and threads is not the best thing :2 cents:
