Woke upthis morning... No internet, No phone and No tv... Sweet fuck all.

Call the people and they tell me ''we will be there between now and 9 tonight, is that alright?" Yeah right like I have a choice.

Ok now it just came back on but this just made me realize, without my ISP... I'm fucking BORED.

I just added a DSL connection yesterday to compliment Rogers cable. Between that and a battery backup, things should be pretty solid.

Yea should have a net zero account as a backup... $9 a month. We do all our income online so it's pretty important

My city is full with free wireless connection so i wont have problem in case of isp failure.

Everything in my house comes in through one FiOS line. They left some cable above ground that I hit and tore up with the lawnmower. I swore I'd be down for days. Luckily, lazy ass installers left extra cable lying behind after the install...and that is what I had hit.

You must be on Mediacom... I woke up to no internet and phone this morning. Luckily I have DirectTV so it never goes down. But I freak when my net goes down.

They are STILL trying to fix the mess that ice storm left behind and ours goes down quite often where they are fixing this and have to do that and it shuts us down for sometimes hours at a time..... I just wanna scream. lol

here at my office just the one...but if it goes down...i get to go home early..lol

Definitely. That's what I usually do. My internet has gone out just twice in a year though. I'm with Velcom (sympatico reseller).
