Actually last year we had a cracking thunderstorm here, with many huge forks.

My camera skills meant i missed every one mind you... :Oh crap

Also part of why I don't think I could ever leave my OC... just before dawn every morning the entire sky/horizon lights up with the most beautiful red/orange/tangerine color you've ever seen. Most people out here miss it, but for the lucky few up to see it, its an amazing thing.

that's one thing i don't miss haha.. fishing out patio chairs from the pool sucks! haha when i knew it was about to storm i was outside moving the stuff up against the wall but normally i would be locked away in my office and not know it was storming till it was too late
