Its 100 degrees out, there is poor circulation in my room and the damn A/C broke in my office. I'm wearing a towel around my neck with 3 trays of ice in it but i'm still sweating like a pig. I'm from Seattle please make the heat go away. So tempted to jump off the balcony into the lake.

It is 108 here today. I am used to the heat, though I still hate it.

It was 84 with 80% humidity here in Connecticut... Heat Index was around 95. I hate this.

Hit 101 at my place yesterday evening. In town (Federal Way, 20 mins south of Seattle) it was 104. Tonight it's 78 right now but in Seattle it's still in the 90s in places.

First thing I did in 1997 when I bought my house was put in central air. When they mentioned the heat coming I went and snagged a couple of extra fans just in case the power went out. My home generator is set to bypass the a/c if the power goes out.

I grew up in Alabama, Georgia and Texas.. I'm just glad it's not humid here. I don't mind the heat as long as it doesn't feel like a steam sauna.

i saw people fighting over an ac unit at home depot yesterday, that was interesting to watch

haha.. I was at a local store yesterday and there was this throng of people with shopping carts waiting for them to bring out fans. When they did, there might have been 50 total. It was like first thing on Black Friday..

I feel your pain Ty, it was 108 here at the weekend and while my AC works, my living area in my condo is so damn huge it can't cool the place down quickly enough. In the end we went to the beach and I went in the Sea for 3 hours :)

Been pissing of rain here solid now for about 3 weeks!!

Little cooler today, but my A/C is still not working. You'd think when you spend big bucks for an office near the water that they could keep the A/C working.

ThinkGeek sells a desktop a/c that isn't too bad for the price. At my last apartment, the a/c was busted for awhile and I used that and their little USB drink cooler :)
