Yep, saw it on CTV news last night.

Rather hilarious...seein' him throw it into park, pop the door and take off runnin' like a black suspect on COPS.

Saw it on the US Channel we got off the satellite, I did not have the sound on so did not here the presenter. Fell off my chair it was so funny, the kids tiny.

What's really funny is that he knew the driving directions to get back home.

That kid was on the Today show with his parents this morning. If I had done that when I was a kid, I wouldn't have been able to sit down, let alone appear on TV.

I laughed out loud when I saw that on the news yesterday. Reminded me a bit of the old Little Rascals show.

had to blog this one today considering not that long ago a 7 year old black kid did the same thing, except he and his family were vilified and parents made to look bad and was not put on talk shows and laughed at as funny.

Regarding kids stealing cars to avoid church, I'm going to pull the Sister Act card and say that perhaps making church a little more interesting would be a good idea. I realize that kids should expect to do a lot of things they don't want to do - to prepare them for the same in adult life, but with religion if you really want to brainwash them into it, make it fun and interesting for them. Why churches haven't figured this out is beyond me. In school, I only ever learned from the teachers that didn't bore the shit out of me (or if the material was actually interesting).

the facts are more complex than just race. white boy was running from church, that was the punchline. he didnt cause any property damage.
