Shooting in hotel rooms

Has anyone been advised by legal counsel or other not to shoot in hotel rooms? I've heard opposing opinions, would love to have some more feedback on the subject.

elmy 08-03-2009 07:02 AM

get room and shoot your content :)

LoveSandra 08-03-2009 07:31 AM

as long as you dont disturb and make hard noise , but see where the problem can be.

goldflower 08-03-2009 08:20 AM

You pay for room and than you can do it what you want. Of course if models will be scream than can be little problem ;) I never have any problems in hotels.

Yea as long as you dont destroy the room or disturb other guests you should be fine. Just use some common sense you might not rent a room to shoot horse bukkake, 17 horses and one girl. That would probably get you in trouble.

I never had trouble shooting in a room back when i bothered to make the effort. If your really worried just get a room at a sleezy place instead of a high end one. They really dont care what you do there as long as you dont leave any dead bodies behind when your done.

Obviously, your best bet is to consult with an attorney on the issue but I think that in most cases, you should be fine with shooting in a hotel room as long as you are not creating a disturbance in the room. But again, for a complete understanding regarding the legalities, you should consult with an attorney.

^ I think this is your safest bet!

no big deal as long as you pay for the room rate and dont disturb others

tetsuo001100 08-06-2009 02:42 PM

just dont tell the cops you're paying the chick. they might try to nab you for prostitution or something. ;)

I have turned up to loads of London hotels with 2 models and my Bowens and cam bag, not once has anyone cared. The late night staff are usualy very friendly when you send down a hot teen in a nurses out fit to get more coffee :D

One hotel in Wembly even let me shoot outside one night

Basicly be respectful and you will find people are ok with you.

Lassitor 08-07-2009 04:41 PM

Just don't have in the shoot anything that will identify the hotel in your video. Remove or coverup all logos, names and registered trademarks that you don't have permission to use in your video.

I have been to many hotel for conventions and parties where pornos where filmed as part of the entertainment. The only problem I have ever seen was when one of the guys was drunk down in the parking lot. Other than that, just be respectful of the other guest.

i never have problems shooting in hotel rooms. you're all right, just be respectful, don't cause a disturbance and get your money's worth! xoxoxo, madison

SexMyWife 08-09-2009 04:23 PM

Yes, just be respectful as everyone has mentioned (and not too loud) and you shouldn't have any/many problems. My little photo to the left was shot in a hotel room and there were 3 guys total and my hubby doing the filming...we had lots of fun. :winkwink:

Acid Trip Media 08-25-2009 08:11 PM

just make sure its a nice looking hotel!

pornguy 08-26-2009 04:55 AM

Find yourself a starving hotel and talk with the night manager. Slip him 50 and dont mess the place up and he will let you shoot all over the place.

UrgeRick 08-26-2009 07:49 PM

I've done about 40 something hotel shoots. The only thing to concern yourself with is how to bring in sufficient lighting without looking your your there to shoot porn (lol)
Seriously, its no big thing, just don't advertise it and bring enough light.

ASaenz 08-30-2009 05:35 PM

Always cared for with the things and the models understand that you are in a room of hotel. The problems exist when one does not take care of the small details that bother to other. :( ;)

Chez_Remon 08-30-2009 07:36 PM

In no place of the world this is a problem. I travelled by the world doing photos and I never had problems in a room of hotel.
Luck friend if you shooting content there !!

fsckr 08-30-2009 08:13 PM

Ah, 17 horses and one girl. Those were fun times...

I've actually been looking at Vacation Rentals instead of Hotel Rooms///

shimmy2 09-05-2009 06:45 PM

its better (and safer) than shooting in your house and having your shit stolen or having their wild ass boyfriend find out where you live. I also shoot in my office after hours as its a secured building far away from the riff raff. no need to bribe hotel managers etc, you are paying for the place after all. just be honest about the number of guests you have and legally there is not much they can do if you dont disturb the peace

lacuna 09-07-2009 12:03 AM

Shouldn't pose any legal problems, but they may not appreciate what you're doing there. Just keep everything quiet and be respectful.
