It'd be like ISO 200, F4.0 on a 17-40MM, Canon 1DsM2, exposure about 6-10 seconds I'd say

I should mention also, that after this, we plopped down a 50mm mortar.
Not wanting to be there when it went off, we found that incense coils (jasmine scented, none the less..), toilet paper, and duct tape make for a reasonably reliable long-delay fuse.

Because I was a bellend and forgot a cigarette lighter, we had to light it off a portable barbeque.

45 minutes later, sitting on the esplanade, baBOOM! private fireworks show ;)

Crazy, La Defense looks like any other city than Paris...

Technically, it's outside of Paris - and quite something. It's a new city, built for commerce... and quite distinct from typical French architecture.

Arrived w/ two friends, we did a lap of the place to see where security + cameras were. Hopped a fence, climbed an external lift shaft for 2 stories, popped into the building, took the fire stairs to the lobby level, changed firestairs, and then proceeded to do 1043 steps to the top :)
