I'm going to teach my dog to get pigeons, anyone have a problem with that?

spoke to the vet, he said can't get sick from them and there is nothing online about pigeons being hazardous to dogs.

i think so.... they are pretty docile but i am not sure how good her leaping is... I was thinking about a retractable leash, but I'm not sure.

If you don't like pigeons, best bet is to find a way to attact hawks to your area. Where I used to live we had a ton of pigeons and the hawks would have a field day. Almost everyday we'd see one either being torn to shreds or just a pile of feathers.

I'm in a major metropolitan city so I don't think there is any real way for that to happen. however where my parents live they have seen an increase in hawks and a decrease in squirrls and pigeons.. they are happy about that.
