Dude, pigeons are nasty, diseased rats with wings. Do you really want you dog to get sick and die from eating one of those flying shit bags?

digifan 08-06-2009 06:20 PM

spoke to the vet, he said can't get sick from them and there is nothing online about pigeons being hazardous to dogs.

digifan 08-06-2009 06:40 PM

Amen to that.

i think so.... they are pretty docile but i am not sure how good her leaping is... I was thinking about a retractable leash, but I'm not sure.

sysk 08-06-2009 07:38 PM

How are you going to teach him... are you doing it yourself ?

questionable idea sir

pocketkangaroo 08-06-2009 09:52 PM

If you don't like pigeons, best bet is to find a way to attact hawks to your area. Where I used to live we had a ton of pigeons and the hawks would have a field day. Almost everyday we'd see one either being torn to shreds or just a pile of feathers.

I'm in a major metropolitan city so I don't think there is any real way for that to happen. however where my parents live they have seen an increase in hawks and a decrease in squirrls and pigeons.. they are happy about that.
