** Windows Vista Computer People If you know Vista inside please **
I need to know what all I can take out of the start up without fucking all my programs..
Whats not needed at start up that is easy to start later? |
in most cases you can uncheck everything, but say you have icq on startup and you uncheck you will have to remember to do it manually
|
anything that you don't use in the "start up" tap, I only keep my mouse pad and audio drivers on, other then that i have nothing else start up with my computer.
just in case you don't know here is how I do it.. 1. Go to start 2. type "msnconfig" 3. go to "start up tab" and unselect all items you don't want to start. 4. press okay, and i usually restart the computer then. 5. when computer starts there will be a message that pop ups just hit "don't display again" .. blah blah your done worked for me |
OK. And then when I go to them from the start menue or what not they should start normally right?

Easy way to access services is right click on my Computer in explorer, go to "manage", then click "services".
Just use Google to find a good list of crucial processes, then set the unnecessary ones you to "manual" instead of automatic. It takes about ta half hour, but you only have to do it once every few months. |
