When one signs up with a sponsor why is it
...there is an influx of spam e-mails...not necessarily from the sponsor. Do the sponsors sell your e-mail address?
|
Any input?
|
same here

I see people sign up using [email protected]
prolly how the do it for all their sponsors IMO. Then you know which one sold your email. We dont do that BTW |
I'm getting a lot more spam on a domain that used to be pretty good about it. Funny thing is another domain that used to get more spam is dropping off now that I'm using a filter on it. You don't think they can tell do you?:1orglaugh

I dunno, but I think these days it is better to go with a "whitelist" of allowed people, rather than bothering to try to blacklist everyone BUT allowed people. Still clogs the system, but at least you dont have to look at them.

I also sometimes think that som of sponsors can do that. I use several email addresses only for registering with sponsors and then... lots of spam on them. Real strange.
|
that is quite perplexing. I was thinking about this just the other day. Hmmm, gosh could be some sort of spam technique to fool you into some kind of trickery ? If I were you I'd be careful

What I don't understand is. When you send a sponsor $87 dollars worth of signups with 2k worth of google traffic. Then you send them another 10k and you just can't seem to make the 100 payment check. I tell ya, not fair is it

SpamArrest :) and yeah, [email protected] is good to use.
On a side note, we do not sell emails. :thumbsup |
