Awesome vid! He is one of my all time favorites.
I had the pleasure to see him in 1968 at the Veterans Memorial coliseum in Phoenix and at Wood Stock, 1969.
Woodstock was the last time I saw him and I went through hell to get there.
I will never forget when I asked my parents if I could go to wood stock right before my Birthday and a huge fight broke out, my Dad beat my ass literally, tried to cut my hair off because I was a fucking dirty Hippy (his exact words), so I ran away and hitch hiked to Woodstock anyway.
I returned home later only to get my ass beat again and then left home shortly after. My mother was heartbroken, but it was for the best. My Father was a redneck and we never saw eye to eye.
So there is my story of Jimmy Hendrix and a moment of my concert going :thumbsup

I can say I have been lucky enough to see allot of artist that have since passed and some that are still alive. I guess you could say, I lived for concerts as a young chap!
