Like I promised in my last thread What do you invest in right now?



Blackpearl Resources
Oil company that specializes in heavy oil in Canada and US (Texas), building up huge reserves and production and sell each and every field to one of the big LAZY oil companies (they want it all served on a silver plate). Company have zero debt and about 50 musd in the bank.

President John Festival took BlackRock Ventures from $0.5/share and finally sold it to Shell Canada for $24/share. Might be too optimistically to think the same with blackpearl, but 10x maybe but it could take like 4-5 years :)


Questerre Energy
Similar approach as Blackpearl, but gas instead of oil. Also no debt, about 50 musd in bank. They bought lots of cheap land not to long ago in an strategic area. Talisman Energy is an partner in one field.

Right now I just have Blackpearl, but I will invest in Questerre soon. Both will be in my long portofolio.

Both might be considered high risk, but the upside is HUGE

What do you guys think about Avion Gold and Africa Gold ?
Haven't read much about them. Africa Oil seems VERY risky to me (they are located in Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya)
