That happened last year here also. Outside the state fair a girl had a lemonade stand and the cops ticketed her.

People bitched, so they made a new, cheap license to allow it.

I used to use 'little girl selling lemonade without a permit' as a joke for complaining about cops that follow the letter of the law more than the intent. I never thought it would actually happen, and honestly, I still think its a hoax...

She learned a very important business lesson...always have a sales permit...
