Your internet usage bill?
Hi,
I was just curious as to what other people pay for their internet usage and what speeds you getting... Currently I pay R599 per month for a 5gig cap with speeds of 1.0mbps, thats basically $75. I'm from South Africa and I really think we stil live in the stone age where internet is concerned. The highest cap I can get with my ISP is 10GIGs for R999. If I upgrade to a uncapped no shaping account you pay an arm & a leg. |
I pay $120 for TV, phone and 16mbps internet (16mbps up/1mbps down)
no cap. |
I pay $59 and get around 16-18mbps down. The plan I have is up to 20mbps down but the few times I tested it was in the 16-18range.
$200/month for a 2mbps satellite connection. (I got no other choice).
I pay $50 and some change a month for basic cable TV and 15mbps cable internet.
I think I pay like $56 a month for 20mb down 10mb up...no cap or anything
~60$ for 5 down, 0.5 up....
Some $40 / month for 10 / 10.
We pay $99 per month.
That includes phone and cable tv, along with 18 down/8 up cable internet. |
i dont pay!
For about $75 I get 3Mb/256 and it's usually pretty shitty, the speed is accurate but packet loss or 10-20 minutes downtime happens often. That's the best residencial package available though.
I pay $20 a month for unlimited 10 mbit / 10 mbit cable Internet here in Russia.
Just checked the maximum available unlimited cable Internet connection package at my internet provider's site. It's $40 a month for 30 mbit/s (both up and down).
If you want IP TV package for 123 channels, it will be $15 extra. |
I pay 45$ month for 5 mbit

I have cable and DSL going through a dual WAN router:
Cable: $59/mo, 10mpbs down / 1mbps up, 90GB usage (Rogers Cable, Toronto) DSL: $50/mo, 5mbps dpwn / 800kbps up, unlimited usage (TekSavvy, Toronto) Rogers now has an ultimate plan.. $149 for 50mbps down / 2mbps up (175gb usage) |
mine is all rolled up into one price but its about $140/mo for TV and Internet through FiOS.
The line is a 20mb down 5mb up, which is plenty fast for me. |

I pay something like 45 a month. Its not the fastest that rogers has but its good enough for me. I wish I would save some money haveing my cable and internet with them but no luck.
I small correction on my previous post (DSL prices in Russia). The most fastest package is 10 mbit / 768 kbit - $37 a month.
I have a strange feeling that Internet in Moscow is cheaper than in other places that listed in this thread. Hmm... |
$60 after taxes.. 15mbps
100 euros a month for phone, TV and internet 10mb. could be cheaper around 70 euros with the standard tv package but the wife's a film buff.
I pay $89 a month for 3MPS with 200 gig data and phone.

Anyways I pay $70 a month for 20/2 and a 250 GB cap. |
$45 for the 3mbit we got (adsl), now telefonica advertises their 20mbit lines except in our part on the costa del sol its only old shitty copper wire so no luck for us, not even the 6mbit they can push thru.
the 3mbit is workable but for online streaming television its a bit too slow. |
100mbit/10mbit about $42/month
I pay 19$ for 1 mbit flat internet,
but we also have wireless net im my city for free! Speed on that one is between 1-10 mbit! :thumbsup |
$85 for 1.5mpbs down, 0.2mpbs up. It sucks, but Australia is behind in internet access for homes.
18$ for 256kbps, works like shit
So here is my conclusion: the best Internet is in Moscow :thumbsup It's cheap, fast and not censored (filtered) like in China, Turkey and some other counties. :pimp
Internet 15mb/1mb no cap + tv (~120 channels) = 25euro/mo
I pay $50 for 8mbit internet
I pay close to 100 bucks.
I can only ball park without looking at the bill(s).
Cable is $176.00 a month. Out of that, I think $76.00 is internet 5M cable internet. Then I have a second, back up, connection. It is a T1, which also includes 3 phone lines. I wanna say my bill on that is $220.00 a month. Phone lines, + the additional features on main line (CID/CF/VMS/etc.), and 800 number are probably $50-70.00 of that. The rest is the data circuit. :2 cents: |
$30/month or so I think...
I pay around $USD275 a month for a business grade ADSL link (ADSL1 8Mbps, ADSL2 20Mbps+). It's expensive (even by Australian overpriced internet standards) but it's truly unlimited... it is written in the contract. I can download 5TB of data in a month without them calling me and asking what's going on. The next best plan tops out at about 150GB cap and I was hitting that too consistently, so I went all out for unlimited...
At the office we have 25/15 Fiber (fios)
We pay $89.00 per month - which also includes 1 phone line we use for a Fax. Rest of our voice lines are Voip.. Faxing doesn't work that great over voip... |
Looks like I can't post links just yet, but what I have is about 15MB/s down / 5MB/s up.
It's around $90 a mo. |
$75 14/2
Paying 39 euros for 12mbp and 500gb cap (they only count downstream and between 01.00 and 13.00 they've got 'happy hr'...)
$50... 10down/1up
