Site Greeter solutions?
 

Can anyone recommend a good site greeter company that they may work with, or know of.

i want to implement something like that into a website. just the text ones, like a chat window with a live person.

Web messenger that worked great for me
 

I have used and implemented CuteSoft's messenger application several times. The price might be considered high by some $299, but it did save a ton of development time. It snapped in quickly and it was up and running in an hour. The last install was for online help desk. The client loved it. cutesoft.net/web-messenger/default.aspx

If you want something that is completely automated, then I would recommend Itellichat

hey thanks, great resources! are you having any increase in retention or sales utilizing something like that (not that i have a clue how you are using it ;)

Before you put that on, ask yourself one thing.. Has it worked on you? Or just pissed you off. Me, they piss me off. So I would never put one on a site.
