Well... in fairness they just moved and are probably still working out infrastructure issues. Downtime isn't typically a problem we have experienced before the move.

Yes, we were doing maintenance and while we didn't expect any downtime, something happened with the router code upgrade. We're rolling it back and should be up very soon.

Our apologies for the issue and we'll keep you posted.

Thanks

Bill

Abracadabra_nl 08-25-2009 05:30 AM

And down for me as well

Thomas007 08-25-2009 05:37 AM

That roll back takes a long time.

How long time does it take to write a firmware on a router?

marcjacob 08-25-2009 05:38 AM

Bill do we have any idea how long the roll back will be? Is it a long job or not too long?

Ditosta 08-25-2009 05:38 AM

Yessir!!!

Marialovesporn 08-25-2009 05:38 AM

back in business ;-)

Thomas007 08-25-2009 05:39 AM

They are up again now.

scubadiver626 08-25-2009 05:58 AM

down again... Bill, how about some relief for the sales damages on all your clients?

It's only fair to give back when not providing as expected. Lots of hiccups since the move.

nolongerexists 08-25-2009 06:01 AM

Yea, up and down from my place.
I thought times with getting 'host down' email alerts would be over after the DC move ;)

Barpimp02 08-25-2009 06:06 AM

All my sites are still down here

Barpimp02 08-25-2009 07:32 AM

Sites appear to be back up

SweetT 08-25-2009 08:10 AM

Thanks for your patience everyone....I can tell you that this is trying my own patience but I know that all of this work will pay off for the long term of NationalNet and our customers.

We still have a very tiny section of the network that is having some intermittent packet loss but our engineers are on the job and should have that totally rectified in just a bit. As with any major upgrades you can usually expect a bump or three that is why we make sure to always send out a maintenance notification even if we don't anticipate any downtime....just in case.

The good news is that we are almost done with the upgrades so in the coming days all of this will be a distant memory and the new facilities and infrastructure will be quietly working for our customers for years to come.

Thanks, again, for your continued support.
