why is it messed up?

If you have a country with 1% of the population being black/asian etc., then a commercial like this would definitely be taken for a general overseas add. Not targeting the region one bit.

I do banners/ads aimed at black folk and ads aimed at the white folks,... then i do ads for gay black folks and then gay white folk, everyone is a target eventually ;)
