Not only did they use a picture with a mac where they removed the apple logo but for the Polish site they simply changed the black guy to a whitey. Awesome.

There's at least 1 other thread about this, though it probably wasn't much older than this one.

Removing the Apple logo was the funniest part. The black to white might have been a decision based on the demographics of their target audience. The logo change was just plain pathetic. (and very telling)

Looks like it...white guy's like "that's my pimp hand!". They also didn't change the shadow to the left of the head even though the "white head" is tilted a different way - was trying to figure out why that looked weird, lol. The woman is like "why the fuck did I get THIS shitty seat where I have to crane my fucking neck around to see whatever the fuck it is we're smiling at?"

The Polish do not like nogs. I can't blame them. Who does?

Hehe their next version will probably be with all black people and they'll chop the wording to "Empowering you people with the IT tools you need."

I photoshop logos off produtcs all the time, standard practice... not sure why theyd use a mac in a microsoft ad though,...

I saw this on Engadget. Thought it was pretty hilarious.

If the Mac is an Intel Mac then he could just as easily be running Vista or at the very least Mac OS with the Office suite open. :)

Give me a break - this never happened.

First the new head in the picture in the middle is too small for the rest of the body. Next, the lighting on the face is all wrong (It's coming from the wrong direction! Look where the light is on the model on the right, compared to the guy in the middle).

Besides all this, Microsoft has tons of money and they never would have went for a mere photochop to appeal to different countries or cultures, they would have reshot the entire picture, used different models in a different setting etc etc. Finally, this picture looks like a typilcal stock photo you can buy from istock.com.
