Hmm in the EU you would most likely get only 5 hours of community service. You'd have to kill someone to get 480 hours.

I know people who have stolen less than 5k of stuff,first time offenders and got at least a month in jail. The fact of the matter is she profited off of the publicity,Saks sales is up it's highest in 5 years so she might have gotten a kickback and she walks away scot free with community service which is essence is one long PSA..

everyone knew OJ was guilty but it was time justice was reversed for once..i definitely dont agree with the verdict but the shock on white peoples faces is one that was plasma burned in my memory for years to come :)

if LAPD had played by the rules they would have gotten a conviction, but they are so used to "enhancing" every damn piece of evidence, and every report they write, that they got fucked when the defendant had enough money to afford a good team of attorneys. It was that simple.

When Mark Fuhrman said he never used "the N word" he single-handedly brought down the credibility of every LAPD cop that testified in that trial. That was the funniest cross-examination I have ever seen. Black cops were laughing.

What was amazing was he said it with a straight face, he should have gotten an Oscar for that preformance.

In the UK you can only get 240 hours of community service. It is thought that over 240 means the crime is more serious than just community service, so the same sentence would have meant prison in the UK. I did 180 hours of community service. It should take about 8 months but I managed to do it in 2 months by working 7 days per week. 480 is a long time...I reckon she will still be doing it in 3 years time so my belief is that she has been taught a serious lesson in why you should not steal unless armed up to the bollocks with a mask on....

If I was her I would put together a solid nasty PI team and dig dirt on the judge and the prosecutor.

Diurt like every penny they earned, dirt like credit card statement from the past 10 years shit that will make the want to commit suicide.

In this country you can do that and if she has the cash there are guys out there who are licenced for this shit.

2 - 3 leaks about possible serious corruption, leaks about the judge paying a hooker things like rented a motel room you guys will be suprised what has been done and what can be done.

The right team can make sure these people who mistreated a person with money should be ashamed to stick their nose out of their windows.
