The Sony FX1 is a great camera for Adult video work. It can shoot SD or HDV on any Mini-DV. Sony is probably the best for skin tones and gives a warm look to all of the video. If you want a higher end camera then going with the Panasonic HVX200 is a good choice, though you will be spending several thousands more.

I also recommend using the Sony Vegas Pro 9 for your editing and DVD/blu-ray needs.

Diskmakers dot com sells some good DVD/Blu-ray duplication machines and you can buy bulk cases at Frys or media-solutions dot com

Try B&H photo for quality lights and gear. Good production values will help attract buyers.

Canon

Canon HG 20, for 600 hundred bucks at Best Buy...or one of those box stores, amazing quality 60GB hard drive, USB right to your computer.

No way to adequately answer that here. If you have never done lighting before, read up on videography forums and blogs first to get an idea about what you are doing.

The best Sony vid cam to buy is a Canon. I use Canon XH A1. All movies on Lukey.com are shot with it. Works for me apart from the LCD screen, doesnt rotate 360 which is pain when holding it above my head.

Ah...If you use an Apple Macintosh then you need to get Final Cut Pro or use the iMovie that comes with it. There are other Apple compatible Editing systems, but Final Cut Pro is the best for Apple Macintosh for the money.

You might also look at the portable Blu-ray/DVD burners out there too.
