Im sickened by the fact that this even constitutes news. That a DJ is a celebrity is god damn mind numbing. All the more sickening to read people reacting to this shitdicks death as if a genius on the level of Mozart has passed.

I recently had the pleasure of living in Prague for a year and a half. During that time I began seeing a Russian girl who was obsessed with trance, hardhouse, etc and spent at least 3 days a week eating e and dragging my ass to these clubs. I cant accurately put into words how much I hate the music and the eurotrash fruits that love it. BUT since I love Russian pussy and e, it balances itself out. The idea of dancing is as repugnant to me as eating my own moms ass, I have to find other ways to amuse myself while the Russian is bouncing off the walls. At a lot of these places there are areas where you can stand and watch the dj work his magic. Thats where you will find me. In and amongst the dj wannabes worshiping whichever queer they shipped in from some EU country. I cant begin to count the hours that I spent high as fuck and watching some waifish fruit from Belgium hit the play button on what amounts to nothing more than a cd player before they start tweaking on knobs that apparently do next to nothing. I listen for a change when I see these jackoffs twisting a knob and acting like they are cranking out a fucking guitar solo and the vast majority of time I dont hear a fucking difference.

If you can answer this question: "Whos your favorite dj?" You should be murdered on the spot.

I agree with you mostly, I've been on the dance floor in front of a lot of DJs, but there have been two that stood out as someone who can do a lot more than sync beats between two overlapping tracks. These guys were *really* performing and entertaining the crowd, without just it just being a big wank because they knew a few spinning tricks. Two is a small percentage of the total number of DJ's I've seen "perform," of course...

Its crazy how many people are bashing DJ AM. He is/was a talent and made more cash then you ever will(few exceptions in the industry).

Well you never were known for your brains on here. This guy was making upwards of 25k-50k a night and could easily 'DJ' anywhere he wanted 7 nights a week.

He was great at picking out other people's records to make stupid scratch noises at clubs so morons could think he's brilliant.

He was a good DJ and he made a good name out of himself. Like I said, He played at our club and DJ's bring in the crowd. That he did. He had a lot of followers.

Im sure most the posters if not all of them at gfy have some kind of drug problem.
