Lets assume both ppl are hot. He is finishing up medical school and she's in nursing school.. or was, so they have stuff in common.
Actually this thread is NOT about me (I'm older so it aint me), but my friend which is catching shit left right and center about it, so I figured, you guys don't bite your tongue, I wanna hear what you got to say. They have been together about a year. If you read my thread about cancer, same friend.
I'm just more curious about the general publics perception of the Ashton/Demi type relationaships vs. the Donald Trump with the young arm candy scenario.
Curious minds want to know. (Tiff actually asked me to post this, she doesn't work in this industry and is blown away by GFY (how busy it is)

Nobody 'talks' but she sure wishes they did. I would guess the reason 'Tiff' wanted you to post is she probably makes the biggest deal about the age difference. And she's the one who likes the attention. (my wife isnt the only older woman I've dated/had relationships with, they all love the attention and thought of a young man more then anyone else involved (naturally).
For the record, a 25 yr old man is a YOUNG MAN too.

Sort of.

Its kinda like seeing two guys holding hands, not something you see everyday so people will hate just because its not what they're use to. Who really cares what people think.

What do you call a forty-five-year-old chick with a twenty-five-year-old boyfriend? Cougar.
I just wrote a thing about this because I saw a press release on a cougar convention thing:

That said, I think there is a stigma to it. I think when people see an older guy with a younger girl they think he is a guy who has something going on - be it money, power, looks whatever, which is why he was able to land a younger hottie. When they see a younger guy with an older woman they often think he is either desperate or he is looking for a sugar momma.
This is just from my own experiences. I have been with friends and heard their comments when we see couples out in public that have a noticeable age difference.

what are you fucking 12? who cares what people think about age difference or anything for that matter.
are you on a whole heap of prescription meds? or what is your excuse for being such a loose cannon/insane?
i wouldnt want any woman that steps within 5feet of you let alone a woman who somehow has enough in common with you that she is your "friend". why would i want someone on my arm who keeps the company of a complete psychopath such as yourself?

I think it's one of those things where you only notice it if you are extra sensitive to it.

Real men always look for younger girls. It's all about sexual attraction. And the girls are looking for love + money (:

I have a relationship, for some time, with a lady 10 years older than me and we feel gorgeous.
I had relationships with young womens, but they are not enough truly beautiful as a lady and mind of younger chicks are in the corners..beauty is fleeting, and you know that ..

Here's the real answer, in general the man is supposed to lead the woman.
He's supposed to be able to guide her mentally, physically, emotionally and financially.
It is not supposed to be the other way around. So, when a woman is seen with a much younger man they know very little of the above is being provided. Which makes them look and, in most cases rightfully, say WTF!?

It would be different if he was cool and didn't care if she came or went, but he is getting all insecure about it and changing himself, the way he dresses and trying to impress her every day.
She actually seems to have the upper hand which is so ridiculous, all she has going for her is looks and youth, he has fallen for that in such a big way that he is doomed for a big fall and all his friends see that but he doesn't.

Therein lies your answer. Nothing wrong with that at all. We have friends in similar situations and ask "Are you happy" and if they are, that is all that matters. Case closed.

Like I'm 29 and still would like to have a family some day. Am I gonna marry a 40 year old women and expect to have three kids with her and what not? No, not gonna happen. Most of these women have already had kids and been married and now are just whatever...
The older man situation can work out better for obvious reasons.
